New Zealand, maybe Canada or Alaska; somewhere that contact with humans was more… optional. Damn, that sounds horrible - generally speaking, I like humans, honestly. ---

Kwaj? You lived on Kwaj? We were there 1984-1987 (beginning of '84, end of '87). This is close to where I’d want to live, but I’d pick Pohnpei (Ponape in the 1980’s), to get around all the military/secret restrictive stuff. My wife would pick Kosrae (not sure about the today-spelling…Kosae, maybe?) But hey,wasn’t that a trip and a half?? ---
