…Until I’ve filled the bathtubs and washing machine in advance of a Tropical Storm/Hurricane warning. (Yep!) …Until I’ve cauterized the backs of my thighs on leather car upholstery. (Yep!) …Until I can sit on the porch and listen to the grass growing. (Yep!) …Until the children have gotten over their thrill at being out of school, and piped up with “Mom, I’m booooored!” (Yep!) …Until I’ve awakened to abandoned zucchini on the front porch. (Yep! Plus snap beans, tomatoes, crookneck squash, cukes, bell peppers, etc. I’m running a veritable veggie rescue mission here, but I’m not complaining!) ---

Huh? What do all of you mean? Oh, the summer weather where it gets really hot. Locally, we’ve got that scheduled for starting the first week of July - although we can have heat waves at any time. ---
