My sister in law would agree with you, She is born in Hong-Kong which makes all kinds of problems, she was born a EU citizen, as Britain was part EU, but since Brexit, everything got more complicated. Dont forget, guys, the Ukraine war probably not had been such a “success” without china. They deliver, amongst several other “Shithole” countries, or what did trump call them? Let stick with Bush’s Axis of evil. (I dont condone that) ---

I think the main difference is, Growing economic powerhouse that is potentially threatening US economic dominance of the world. China: Yes Russia: No Human rights schmooman rights. Its all about the money. ---

Of course, they _define_ “fascist” as “opposes Russia”; they don’t even teach about the Holocaust in their schools. The Nazis were bad in their eyes for being on the other side as Russia, and for no other reason. ---

AFAIK, Hong Kong residency during the colonial period did not grant EU citizenship. ---
