Your advice about hovering (whether sarcastic or not) is what starts this whole fear thing.

I once asked a friend why she stood up to pee and she said it was because she had often seen urine on the seat. How does urine get on the seat? By standing up!

Doesn’t make much sense to me.

Urine on the seat may be disgusting, but it’s almost never dangerus. In the absence of a urinary-tract infection, urine is sterile. By contrast, feces are mostly water and bacteria (dead and living). Dietary fiber is a smaller constituent than most people believe.
