His father name was Artanáro, his mother namewas Gil-Galad, meaning “Radiant Star”, and his title was Ereinion, meaning “offspring of kings”. 2. Son of Fingon in Sil, it gets complicated after that. Son of Orodreth, who in some versions was the son of Finarfin, but in others the son of Angrod. 3. Earwen was Galadriel’s mom. I have no idea what her name means. She was the daughter of Olwë, and thus the niece of Elu Thingol. ---
