I’m not saying this was what Katie was thinking in the beginning, but I’m willing to bet her initial reaction was similar. ---

Tom and Katie are in Australia right now, and were on the news last night (“ooh, celebrity in town!!” kind of item) and Katie still looked utterly miserable, while Tom had that forced grin of his pretending he was being friendly and charming but really looked kind of slimy. I have a feeling Katie is desperately trying to scream out a ‘rescue me!’ with those sad expressions. ---

_Sheltered?_ --this is a woman who is an actress and has been one for some time. How sheltered could she be? I am not saying that she participates in the lifestyles that swirl around Hollywood and the film/TV industry–but she is hardly just out of convent school. She does indeed look miserable-but I looked miserabel thru 3 pregnancies. Alot of women do not glow while expecting. Dunno if that is the case with Kate. Tom needs help. But Katie is no Elizabeth Shoe (Shue?) here. ---

She has a very fresh, innocent look, but she’s been around long enough that she should have seen this coming. However, he has so much money. This deal may have been too attractive to pass up…if in fact it was a deal. I hate to pass judgement, and wouldn’t have if it hadn’t been for that ridiculous couch-jumping escapade. That tripped the bullshit meter. ---

I kind of feel sorry for her, kind of, in a way. It must suck to know that a hundred million or so people know about your pregnancy and relationship, and that not one single person amongst that hundred million believes that your SO is in love with you. ---
