Who knew this thread would devolve into using electric toothbrushes on sex organs.

When we were both in the catio yesterday, I said to the tomato plants, ‘Hurry up and grow! We want to eat your reproductive organs!’

Over the weekend we ate three tomatoes from the small plant. The smallest was the size of a cherry tomato, and the largest was under two inches. They were very tasty; sweet, and not a lot of pulp.

The larger plant has tomatoes shaped like little pumpkins or some other squash. I don’t know the variety. None of those are ripe. We’re starting to get little tomatoes (three or four) at the top, where I went over the blossoms with the electric toothbrush. There are still a fair amount of flowers. The wind blew the plant over twice yesterday. I put bricks around the pot.
