To be totally honest I don’t recall ever seeing anyone being modded just for “being a jerk”. It’s always “personal insults and being a jerk” “trolling and being a jerk” etc. Beyond that, lots of people engage in behavior that could be called “being a jerk” without even being noted. I’ve always thought the Don’t be a Jerk was more of a principle than an a rule. I also don’t think it’s terribly relevant to the “no hate speech rule” because what is and isn’t hate speech is considerably easier to define and debate. ---

If I had accused you of a rules violation, I would have done so as a Moderator. The point of the comment was to demonstrate that you are predisposed to deny any statement I make, regardless of facts.
