When I first tried it this morning, I was totally lost. Put it down for a half hour and aha! Whizzed through it with one cheat - 42 A. I can almost guarantee that even the best of you will give it a nod and a “Not bad.” Three cheers for Oliver Hill, who composed it. 🙂 ---

Some papers put it out on Saturday, with minimal news, but all of the filler sections. I buy my Sunday paper on Saturday, so I have something to read if the nightshift is slow ---

I’m such a bad spelling that I was getting all the misspelled answers without even knowing what was going on. Eventually the middle “theme” clue told me. ---

[/QUOTE] The themed words were among the most misspelled words in (American?) English. And these words were all misspelled. It was very cleverly constructed. I’ll look around for the magazine, hoping I haven’t tnrown it out and if not, will list the words—as they appeared in the puzzle, of course. ---

Sure thing… Here’s the puzzle answers - the clues aren’t particularly interesting or clever so I won’t give you those, but have a look and then check the spoiler for the correct spellings.
