“I wonder if covering yourself with mud or clay would fix this particular problem?”

Why don’t they just wear clothes?

I think the Subject Topic should be changed to ‘Survivor 4’ so that in the future archives, people know which Survivor series we are talking about.

Er, have you ever been around mosquitos while wearing clothes? It doesn’t really help a whole lot.

Wearing clothes does help, but if the mosquitoes (no-nos) are blood thirsty enough they will just attack any part of your body that is unclothed. Nothing like having mosquitoes trying to attack your eyelids to force you into offering your leg as a suitable alternative.

Just when you thought Sean couldn’t sink any lower…

The newest report is that along with all his personality defects, Sean may be engaged in a more serious activity. If tabloid reports are true, Sean and another contestant on the show did not meet for the first time in the Marquesas. They have instead know each other quite well for at least two years prior to the show. They apparently auditioned and were accepted seperately and did not tell the producers they were acquainted.

The surprise is who the other contestant is. Poetic justice would make it Rob, but in fact it’s Gabrial.

Perhaps this will be used as a dramatic event during the series. The producers will “discover” the fact these two are in possible collusion. Jeff Probst will arrive in camp and grimly inform them they are being taken off the show.

[Link](http://www.survivornews.net/article?id=27) to the story Little Nemo is talking about, as described on [survivornews.net](http://survivornews.net). The Star’s unnamed source says Sean hung out at th bar where Gabriel worked and at each others’ homes, and that the casting director was aware of it. CBS says they were not previously acquainted. I’ll side with the producers on this one unless other information comes out, since it would be an incredibly stupid thing to do and couldn’t ever be kept a secret for long anyway.

Interesting development.
Would two aquaintances or friends not be allowed, because of collusion?
Do they have to swear at some point that they don’t know any of the other contestants?
I guess this would be grounds for disqualification, right?

Something tells me $5 would be about right…

I’ve seen the last two shows, looks like it might be interesting.

I’ll admit I haven’t seen it explicitly written anywhere that the rules of the show prohibit two people who know each other from participating. But I have to figure it has to be against the rules. Knowing another player in the show would be a huge advantage.

After all, we’ve seen on every series how strong the bonds become among the members of each tribe after only a few days together. How much more of an advantage would it be to have someone else on the show that you’ve known for two years? Especially in this case where the two aquaintances are on different tribes. When the merger occurs, everyone else will be sounding out the opposite team but these two can quickly get together and brief each other on their former teammates.
