Actually, while watching Best Exotic Marigold Hotel I couldn’t help thinking what a great stage musical it would make. I don’t know if that makes me part of the problem or the solution, but, with the right talent behind it, I’d invest.
My wife and I noticed that as well… it was bizarre.
If you noticed, they had amusing things going on behind Neil Patrick Harris several times when he was speaking to the camera before going to commercial. A man visibly upset sitting behind a Lion King cast member in full costume, two cast members from **Peter and the Starcatcher **arguing, and the woman crowd surfing back to her seat. (All actors, and planned by the production, of course.) Very funny!
