Bernie Sanders is _Jewish_? **Oy Vey!** But I won’t hold being Jewish against Bernie, he can’t help it, some people are just born that way. ---

Like Israel policy is the centre of the world. Difficult to think you’ll get too much out of Sanders on foreign policy until he has to speak to it, and then it’ll be largely platitudes. Some good early sign on opposing NATO expansion and hiding behind Obama’s caution on Syria. Ovb. opposed Iraq. Being strong on defence and cautious to throw your weight around doesn’t seem a bad position. ---

If anything, Sanders seems to have a more realistic view of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict than any other Democrat (and certainly any Republican). Thanks for turning me on to him, **Scandic**! ---
