I dunno, I bet you could get some pretty good offal for under $5, and that could help lure the wolf to the _neighbor’s_ door. Bonus if the neighbor has dogs and/or children in small sizes. ---

Dear Produce Buyers of every fucking market I shop in: You can’t set your own date for when fresh fruit and vegetables will be ready for harvest. Stop insisting delivery of said produce too early. I am sick and tired of too green melons that have been twisted off the vine, cherries that are pink instead of dark red, and peaches with the consistency of granite that go bad before they have a chance to ripen, you useless fuckers. Just stop it. Yes, I will take my life in my hands and start attending the “Farmer’s Market”. If I can find a parking space. :mad: ---

There have been times where I’ve wrapped my feet in a heating pad and it didn’t work. Generally, I need to warm up my entire body to get my feet warm (e.g., take a long hot shower). ---

I wish my husband would stop playing video games until 2 a.m. and complaining that he’s too tired to get out of bed the next morning when the kids wake up at 5:30 a.m. Dammit, I get out of bed regardless of how much (or little) sleep I’ve had. Why can’t you just a) shovel your bum out of bed in the morning with the kids once in a while or b) set a timer for yourself at night and _actually follow it_. I love you, but I hate it when people complain about something, then do nothing to fix it. You asked me earlier why I always take the first shower in the morning because you’d “be more than happy to” so I can stay in bed longer. I appreciate the sentiment, but I can’t wait until 9 a.m. to take a shower since I have to have dropped children off and driven the 45 minutes it takes me to get to work by 9 a.m. When you’re able to get up at 5:30 or 6 when the kids do, we’ll talk. Drives me bonkers. ---
