Have they ever shown someone giving rectal exams? Because I haven’t done one yet*, but I hear it gets pretty foul sometimes.

*Nursing student.

There was one where he had to do a rectal exam on a cow – something to do with finding out how far along she was in a pregnancy – would that count? I don’t think I would want to stick my arm in there…

It may have become #1 after the Tannery-in-up-state-NY episode.

[Hearsay Alert] I met some guys who were overseeing the crews cleaning out abandoned refrigerators in New Orleans after Katrina. They told me that the group had invited Dirty Jobs down, and they came down and did some filming, but it never aired.

Too bad, because I think for smell, that job would be very hard to beat.

Hmm. I remember seeing part of a Katrina episode where Mike was helping with house gutting. They showed lots of washers still full of water, and kitchens full of rotting food and rats…but I don’t remember them spending much time with refrigerators.
