Is that what it’s like to be on drugs?
Someone beat you to it. Reported for merging.
The video was great, by the way.
Reddit AMA by the creators. (I haven’t read any of it.)
Be sure to rewatch. You’ll notice things the second time.

Saw this while mentally altered. It was a fuckin’ trip. Too many cooks! Too many cooks…
Merged duplicate threads.
Slow to start, then funny, then “lets beat this dead horse so far into the ground that it comes out in China” dull.
A good humorist knows when to stop.
I feel like you didn’t watch the whole thing.
Or maybe he’s a B.R.o.T.H. sleeper agent.
I forced my wife to watch the entire thing. She didn’t find it nearly as funny as I did.
You’re damn right I didn’t. No punchline in the history of the world is worth sitting through 11 minutes of boredom. I gave up at the science fiction parody.
Yeah if you made it to the scifi part and weren’t digging it then it just isn’t the right humor for you.
It needed more Oaming.
That was far too many cooks. And incredibly brilliant.
I don’t remember that from Rosanne, but definitely from That 70s Show. But Roseanne would certainly be earlier.
Thundercats had “Snarf”. Smarf seemed to be more a nod to Alf, Small Wonder, or Out of This World.
Is there a complete list anywhere of the shows parodied?
I spotted Married with Children, Magnum PI, Dallas, 3’s Company and of course Brady Bunch at the end
Which cop shows were they spoofing? Which Sci-Fi shows? I saw the visor guy from Star Trek.
The sci fi show felt like Buck Rogers and the Cop show Law & Order but I think they were basically parodying a genre more than a particular show.
Just as an aside, I get that it seems like a joke stretched thin but to me, what brings it back to brilliant is the Doctor mumbling “Kill me” and the words with people across their chest near the end.
There’s a Falcon Crest parody in there with the hooded bird repeatedly turning to the camera. And, of course, Wonder Woman.
That was definitely Rosanne. That 70’s show intro was of the gang driving the car with different people taking turns at the wheel. Here
I had been wondering what the deal with the falcon was.
