I have absolutely no doubt that there are knuckle-dragging-conservative boards which I could join merely to PALATR, and I have absolutely zero interest in doing so. Of course, if you did you’d be banned instantly. Conservative boards, for all their talk of liberty and American values, are not known for their tolerance of dissenting views. Funny how that works. ---

Martyrdom complex. We get it here a lot, and not always for political reasons. See \*\*GEEPERS \*\*for a recent extreme example. It often involves manufacturing incidents of persecution and malign motives in your opponents, because just being called an idiot by hundreds of people is not sufficient to get the sense of those nails being hammered in.
