Whenever I get well enough to cast (not sure about the rules for negative HP/0), I have 2 healing spells still ready (don’t need to relearn them). I get 1 of them and the other for the next worse off. ---

If Melon cures Wolvie then the latter will be able to use his previously granted spells (not quite per Gygax but let’s throw you a bone here). As for Trotman pissing off, do please remember he’s your guide and you had enough trouble in the marsh _with_ his help 😉 ---

I think we should figure out what has defiled this place to the point that the dead are rising. It’s no wonder the town hired us to do this job. I can’t really blame them for not wanting to go near this place. ---

I say we finish the job, but perhaps we should get our buddy some help. And oops, I had the pitons to lock the doors but lets just assume I did that. I’ll also keep Magic Missile around for today. Maybe this time i’ll get to use it… ---

Out of game note: It’s too bad I’m not a Final Fantasy XI Thief. I could use ‘Flee’ to chain all the mobs out of the zone, which would give us free reign to explore while they slowly walked back to their spawn points. Of course if this was FFXI, a level 1 THF can be defeated by a bunny rabbit. ---

He repays \*\*Melon \*\*to the tune of 3hp which with overnight healing means he is only 1 down, then cures \*\*Oredigger \*\*right back to full health. \*\*Appleciders \*\*is still down 5 despite the night’s rest, and you’re out of clerical cures for now. Out of game note: Does anyone even care any more? Honestly, maybe it’s the jet lag and the tiredness talking, bu this is moving at a snail’s pace and I’m not convinced that people are really contributing/enjoying in this game. Back to the game: “Of course we stick together and stay here until everyone is healed. If we really want to notify Trotter or w/e our guides name is, I am the only one who could possibly sneak back to his location and return here undetected. I’m usually quite better than my recent track record suggests, honest.” ---

oog note: This is pretty much the only thread I regularly check on SD when I can get online, so I hope it still continues. Perhaps if there are some who don’t want to continue playing, we could look into substitutions or use that as a basis to split the party or maybe looking into the (very old) reserve list to maybe give someone else a chance to come into this game, now that they know the slower pacing of it?/end OOG “The Thief actually speaks well on this note. As much as I hate to admit it, he’s got a point, and I too believe we should stay together. I will lend my pitons to the cause of barring the doors and such.” ---
