I’m so glad they got that whole Myka think resolved in the first episode and didn’t try to drag it out for dramatic effect. That kind of thing always irritates me. Artie, as always, was awesome, and the subplot with Zeus and Hera was fun.
Good episode overall, I thought, but it felt kind of rushed. And what was with Mrs. Frederick carrying H.G. around in a Pokeball? “I choose you, Psychowriter!”

My new guess regarding Jinks is that he’s already abusing an artifact to give him his lie-detecting powers; he just happens to be the kind of person who wants to do good instead of hurt people. It could be kind of an interesting arc to have him be forced to give up Famous Person’s Notable Object and have to learn how be a good agent based just on whatever abilities he naturally has.

If there’s any truth to your guess, my guess is that he is unwittingly using the artifact, not abusing it intentionally.

I see they’re still going with the lesbian subtext between Myka and H. G. Wells. That scene where Myka puts her hands through the Wells’ hologram, and the noises she (Wells) made that can only be interpreted as sounds of pleasure, was really something…

Judging by Mrs. Frederic’s statement when she recruits him, he needs to be looking someone in the eye to know when they’re lying.

So…I’ve only known this for about a week. I’m now terribly confused because there’s this whole list of things I’ve seen “this guy” in and now I have no idea which twin was in which thingie. I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one to pick up on this last season.
I thought some of the lines between Pete and Steve were quite funny, but I’ll be damned if I remember what they were now. Except the part about unresolved sexual tension, which was only funny because Myka seems to dig H.G. so much more than Pete.
Jormungandr, I sure hope not. Claudia and Steve can play the supporting roles as far as I’m concerned.

I rather liked Steve’s reaction to Pete’s saying that the only way out of the Warehouse was feet first. If verbalized, it would probably have been something like, “You’re ly . . . no, you’re not!”

What I really liked about that scene was her looking down, then looking back up at him to tell him “A world of enless wonder.” And he knows she isn’t lying to him.

I wish they had shown his reactions to Pete’s descriptions of the artifacts he has encountered.

I would pay any amount of money to see this scene played out. In my imagination, it involves Mrs. Frederick clotheslining Pete, then glaring at him.

My first thought was that the jade bug will somehow show up and save the gang’s bacon right when the bad guys have them cornered and are just about to zap them straight into oblivion.

But it was not half as awkward as the time he tried on Thomas Jefferson’s pants around her…😃
Was I the only one who pegged Agent Bad Southern Accent as a villian from the start?

Just watched it last night. Glad Myka is back; the show wouldn’t be as good without her. Not that the show is really all that good, objectively, but it’s a cheesy good time and I enjoy watching it.
