# Took my first horse to our first horse show!

Congrats on the show, **Ruffian!!!** It sounds like you’re doing wonderfully well. One of my greatest pleasures is trail riding. No phones, no interruptions. I’m thinking about starting to train again. Before I had my first horse I took years of lessons, but I couldn’t afford lessons and horse-keeping after I got my mare. Now with Irish, my gelding, I’d like for us both to have a little more schooling. I bought him as a yearling and trained him by myself and he does pretty well, but we could both use some dressage lessons. My favorite saddle is a dressage saddle, too. (Explain why I have 1 horse and three saddles)
