The PA system at the ShopRite this weekend was playing “Boogie Oogie Oogie Till You Just Can’t Boogie No More,” and I nearly turned into Disco Stu, right there. When our generation is in the Old Folks’ Home, the staff can tease us by playing Donna Summers’ “Last Dance,” and watch us all desperately try to write our phone numbers on cocktail napkins . . . ---

First thing that came to mind was a (slight mistransliteration) of “Baby You Can Drive My Car” … “toot toot, beep beep, yeah!” MY parents raised me on the good stuff! Beatles, Led Zep, Eagles, Doobie Bros, James Taylor… etc. Mr. Pol, on the other hand… is quite the Disco Stu… ---
