Just to chime in, every reference I have seen to the Broomhandle mentions it as being accurate. I believe quite a few were chambered for 9mm Mauser Export, which would have made them very good powerful pistols.

Irrespective of that, judging the quality of the gun by forty year old scrapings from Chinese government warehouses is a bit like saying that Browning pocket pistols are crap based on the quality of all those cheap spanish knockoffs.

Anyone who thinks a revolver can’t jam has not fired 50 rounds of handloads with IMR 4227 through a Ruger Redhawk. That is some dirty burning powder. I’ve had it lock the cylinder up tight as a drum.
