**Joey Hemlock** , where did you get the name Elvis Hitler? I’ve actually heard it in a song. Hoobastank. The name is so bad I hate just reading it. Typing it was worse. 😛 For that matter, Limp Bizkit sucks. The name is bad too. ---

I hired a band in Utah that consisted of the following: [ul] [li]2 lawyers[/li][li]A doctor[/li][li]An accountant[/li][li]The regional VP of Sealy Mattress[/li][/ul] Their name? **The Disgusting Brothers** Apparently they got their name at their first rehearsal. After going through several songs, none of which all of them knew, one of the lawyers stopped the “music” and proclaimed, “That was disgusting, brothers!” Actually a very good cover bar band. I hired them for several events that KDLX put on in Southern Utah. And one time their opening act was a campy “Andrews Sisters” type act consisting of five women. They were: **The Saliva Sisters** Just try to promote a concert where the performers are “The Disgusting Brothers with special guests The Saliva Sisters.” Actually had a good turn out for that one - over 1500 people! ---

I just watched an episode of _Aqua Teen Hunger Force_ (a very stupid cartoon) and somehow a character resembling Abe Lincoln holding a samurai sword came into play. **Samurai Lincoln**. Now there’s a band name. ---

Anywho, it’s _Absurd Notions_, an online comic strip. The link goes to one where the characters discuss and ultimately reject the idea of starting a band, but still enjoy coming up with possible band names: Explodaphone, What By What, Touch The Pan, Anycheese, Death By Carob, etc. Guess you had to be there. ---

Always thought that **Hootie and The Blowfish** was an appropriately stupid name for that band. As for ridiculous band names, some friends of mine were in a band called **Lorne Green’s Wet Nipple** … apparently it was based upon a real incident.
