Subtitled: _Clapton Week, Part III_ **First: The Who’s, What’s, Where’s & Why’s of the Supplemental Poll** As promised all the way back when we did the Allman Brothers Band poll, and in an attempt to squeeze as many bands in the shortest amount of time possible, as a regular feature, The Monday 6 @ 6 Poll, includes a Headliner poll and a Supplemental poll. This Derek & The Dominos poll, like the featured [**Cream**](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=149259) and the [**Eric Clapton Solo**](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=149260) headliner poll threads will be closed and tallied 7 days from today, Monday December 16, 2002 at or about 6PM EDT. Results from all 3 polls will be posted a few minutes later on that same day in _Week #35_’s regularly scheduled _Concrete Blond 6@6 Poll_. **Second: The Poll & How it Works** It’s simple enough, post your **6** favorite songs by the artist. Personal observations, opinions, liner notes, comments and the like are always welcome but are in no means required. You **May** include Cover Versions. If you specify Live version, it will be noted, but tallied together with the studio version of the same title. **Lastly: The Supplemental Poll Artist of the Week** Without further ado, the best supergroup that ever was: **Derek & The Dominos**. 1. layla (i 'spose it’s gotta be in here, right?) 2. key to the highway (preferably live from the rainbow gig) 3. bell bottom blues 4. little wing (i prefer this one to hendrix, key of E, big power chords) 5. why does love got to be so sad 6. tell the truth (again, prefer the rainbow concert version) certainly a supergroup, but “the best supergroup that ever was” IMHO would be blind faith. bigger stars, better songs. did i miss the BF poll? ---

hell yeah, derek and the dominos are so good, especially on the live at the fillmore album, a must have i think! I’d say this is one of the best live albums i’ve heard! 6.
