Google “padma” and “pothead.”
An anonymous source came out a year or so ago and said she was smoking pot on set. Obviously, it’s just a rumor, but a pretty odd one to start without any basis in reality.

Whether Padma was high or not (and I kind of hope she was), I’m shocked (shocked!) that anyone thought Kelly Choi was anything better than absolutely horrible. Masters was fantastic, but she almost made it unwatchable.
She almost reached Gail Simmons levels of unlikability.
Yeah, the same guy who wanted to keep using his bleeding hand to hand-form tuna patties. :eek: They called him out on it and he did it again the next round; he seemed like he honestly didn’t realize he did it when they confronted him the next time.
Ah, OK. I must not have seen that. Good to know, I always just thought it was something chefs did since they always show them tasting their soups & sauces.
A lot of kitchen have big spoon holders so you can take a taste then toss the spoon in the sink. It honestly doesn’t bother me that much to see someone taste with the same spoon more than once. That miniscule amount of germs isn’t going to phase me. Some ethnic foods have a group of people dipping out of a communal pot.
Of course, I’m Catholic - we all drink from the same chalices during Communion.
