Wikipedia says Kevin was the fan favorite.
I thought they were supposed to announce it during the show and then when it was over, I was like “I must have spaced out.” I had heard them say “stay tuned for fan favorite,” but I had ignored that as being ridiculous. Guess I was wrong.
I really liked the reunion. I usually don’t care one way or the other for them, but it was very funny and I thought it was good of them to not just focus on the V brothers, Kevin, and Jenn, that Martin and Ash and Ashley and Ron, etc., all got clips and attention.
When Martin asked Padma if she got pregnant during the breakfast in bed challenge, I almost fell out of my own bed laughing.
That’s too bad about Kevin. I thought he was a pretty devout Catholic too, so that makes it extra hard.
I thought this interview with Tom Colicchio was interesting
Ouch!
They announced it on Andy Cohen’s show.
I’ve heard a lot of people going on about Padma acting spacey, the reunion show was the first time I noticed it. Which is really scary considering she’s pregnant.
She was hired for her looks, not her conversational skills. Personally, I’d prefer if she stayed off the tasting table.
This was a great season though. So many good chefs, without so much of the “rainbow” emphasis. (I don’t care about their sexuality. Shut up and cook.)
Now if only other cooking “contests” like Hell’s Kitchen could actually bring in this level of talent, they’d be 100% better, instantly.
She does know a bit about cooking, even if she sucks at expressing her views on it. She’s written a couple of cookbooks, and hosted a food show before joining Top Chef.
