She had a young daughter and some angst about being away from her, and she won a challenge that had to do with making cafeteria lunches for an elementary school. Ok, I sorta remember that. Maybe she just changed her appearance enough to confuse me. ---

I think a lot of people’s “I’ll never do that again!” reserve would crumble in the face of a big fat check. I’ve never seen season one, but I have picked up a little about Tiffany through later seasons. I’ll be interested to see her in action. I hope that the absence of Kevin (Gillespie, season 6) and Stefan (Richter, season 5) means they are too busy having brilliant careers. ---

I’m confused why they included Marcel. I recall Marcel was a guest sous chef in the S5 finale. Bravo posted an extended judges table where the three guest sous chefs (Marcel, Casey and Richard Blais) were asked to comment on the abilities of the chefs they worked with. Marcel worked with Stefan. They couldn’t get anything out of Marcel. How a chef works with a sous is an important part of the job. Marcel’s reaction was just weird. He wasn’t being judged. They were trying to judge stefan. Someone above mentioned the “all stars cook off” show. Marcel started acting weird there too. Not talking or cooperating. It Pissed off Fabio. I can’t imagine why Top Chef keeps hiring this guy. (I’m pretty sure the guest sous chefs get paid for their time.)
