Figure skaters are usually of age, so it’s not pervy to lust after them. It still doesn’t really seem to fit the spirit of the thread, though, since figure skating is an aesthetically-judged sport, and therefore naturally tends to favor attractive performers. It’s not that much more interesting than listing attractive actresses. ---

Megan Fox may be beautiful but I’m guessing she can’t skate backwards into a triple toe loop and then keep jumping and spinning and doing tricks for four and a half minutes. ---

Of course, I did most of my gymnastics watching in the early '90s, when the Soviet-bloc gymnasts in particular had apparently been subjected to puberty-suppressing drugs, so a lot of them looked younger than they were. Svetlana Boginskaya was born in 1973, so she at least would have been 18+ by the time I was watching her. Nicole Bobek was born in '77, so she too would have been 18 in 1995 when I first saw her. Didn’t the Olympics finally raise the minimum age for competitors a few years back? Isn’t it like 16 now? ---

Training at that level tends to supress puberty/menstruation for athletes in any sport plus gymnastics will self select for the small of stature. ---

True, and I didn’t mean to imply otherwise, but you’re also not going to get very many female figure skaters who look like a man in drag, like you often will in other sports (especially back in the days of the Soviet Union). ---

She threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Texas Rangers game I was at a few years back. She did _not_, to say the least, throw like a girl … Frankly, after seeing the performance the pitching staff put in that game, I thought maybe Washington should have left her in. ---
