The one from the Sheepdog is suppose to be a wolf. You know, Ralph, not Wile E. Coyote. In fact Ralph’s full name is Ralph Wolf. Why they gave them the same body design is a little weird. ---

I can’t list only 5. Every time someone posts their five, I’m like, “yeah! That one!” So to add to the pile, I recommend the two Ralph Phillips daydreamer cartoons, the Walter Mitty-esq _From A to Z-Z-Z-Z_ and _Boyhood Daze_. ---

Maybe that’s what made them good even when I was a kid. It’s worlds better than Bubble Guppies and (gag) Mickey Mouse Club House. I’ll spare myself anymore fashbacks. ---

I cannot argue with this. The square-dancing sequence (right after Bugs unplugs the “jukebox”) is probably the funniest few minutes in any cartoon ever. ---

Yeah, I’m aware. Trust me I’ve watched hours of that crap. The thing is there is a dearth of any thing else easily available. There are a few different shows, but most of those aren’t that good either. Teen Titans wasn’t awful, but I can’t think of any others that didn’t make me want to scream. Loony Tunes were smart, funny, and yeah, violent. I have always questioned whether violent cartoons make violent kids. When my kids were little there was, Duck Tales, Dark Wing Duck, Tail Spin, Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers. These were well, made funny, and often did teach a moral. Why the HELL did Disney make the gag worthy Mickey Mouse Club House? That show almost makes _me_ violent. Anyway, I loved Yosemite Sam and so did my dad. He (Sam) was such a nasty little shit. I’m gonna’ have to see if I can find out the titles of the individual toons so I know which ones y’all are discussing. ---

Friz Freleng himself was on record as indicating, “I never knew if a film I was making would be _Looney Tunes_ or _Merrie Melodies_, and what the hell difference would it make, anyway?”. ---
