After a reasonable number (20?) of posts, I’m planning a summary similar to the one in the Newman thread. Sort of a glorified poll in reverse. It seemed to me to be simpler just to post the IMDb list of movies for individuals and have people choose their preferred ones than to try to guess which movies were worth putting into a poll to begin with.
Other than that, we can do with these replies whatever feels right. If you have ideas of your own, please share.
What started with Newman and McQueen has ballooned into several actors’ works and now may expand to directors and who knows what else.
Ian McKellan
Bruno Kirby
Joe Pesci
You know what? I think it’s about time to have a poll based on the suggested names in this thread to see which actor or director most Dopers want to see in a poll similar to the Newman and McQueen ones (along with Stewart, Caine and the others like Hoffman and Allen that I’m planning to start tomorrow).
Is that too much? If so, just please refrain from voting in that poll and I can read between the lines!
Whoohoo! I’m all for that, Zeldar. Looks like fun.
