“You dropped your phony dog poop.” I also love the scene where the Germans rear end the Pinto. I’d quote the good lines from _Real Genius_, but I’d be quoting the whole movie. There are some I use/think of all the time, however. Avert your eyes if you don’t want to see good _Real Genius_ quotes. “Coming? It’s not even breathing hard!” “Do you run?” “Only when chased.” "I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, ‘I drank what?’ " “I guess it goes from God, to Jerry, to Kent… to the cleaners.” “Okay, Jesus. Lemme have it!” I also love the sequence with the tape recorders in the classroom. ---

I absolutely love when he wakes up from the dream about school. I for one would have the exact same reaction. And there’s this: Hillary: “Some things are much better left unsaid.” Nick: “Like what?” Hillary: “Well, you know, sometimes when you blow your nose into a tissue and you put it in your purse, then a little while later you have to reach in there for your lipstick or something and your hand gooshes into it and …” Nick: “OK! OK! You’re right, somethings are better left unsaid.” As for _Real Genius_, do I have to tell you how much this movie was adored among those of us attending an early entry program at an engineering university? “Dr. Hathaway, I saw your show the other night on radioactive isotopes, and I’ve got a question for you.” 😃 ---
