Shame on me! 🙂 Be careful though. Requiem for a Dream is tragic, it gets darker and darker, it doesn’t ever let up. Just so you are forewarned. It’s the same director as ‘The Fountain’. Everyone I know who I have loaned that movie to comes back with a, “Why didn’t you warn me?”, so, you are warned. ---

Oh MAN, I posted too late because a lot of my good ones have already been mentioned! Already named: 1. Point Break (this was the first one I thought of when I read the thread title) 2. White Chicks (I seriously thought no one else liked this movie, or possibly, that no one else would admit to liking this movie in public) The rest of my list of movies that I _think_ aren’t overly popular: 3. Dogs in Space 4. Fire Walk With Me 5. Youngblood 6. Can’t Stop The Music (the Village People movie) 7. The Private Eyes 8. Dance Me Outside 9. L’Avventura (very much a cheat, because it is a critically acclaimed film, and in Italy even small children would put this on their own top ten lists, but I’m not convinced it’s frequently viewed in the US; also, I suspect this is the first time this movie has _ever_ appeared on the same list as Can’t Stop The Music) I can’t think of a tenth that is really in my heavy rotation and meets the requirements of the OP. ---
