I hesitate to even mention this, because I’m afraid it’ll set off a firestorm here too, but, I really am tired as heck of…

Gun debates.

Argh. Regardless of my own well-known stance on the issue, the continual fascination and endless flammage around this topic brings new meaning to the term “sado-necro-equino-phillia”.

1. Would it be legal to (insert act generally considered unethical/immoral and likely illegal in many countries anyway)?

2. “Simple probability question” … in which Monty Hall, Marilyn vos Savant, Cecil Adams, and the Rev. Thomas Bayes receive repeated abuse, and some people still refuse to believe the correct answer.

3. Subject containing the word “question” without any clue to the field. (Why is it you never see a GD thread titled "I’ve got a debate for you … "?)

4-9999. all other vague/misleading subject headings not the result of using quotes : “You’ve got to see this!”, “Help me with this”, “Why is this possible?”, etc.
