    The New Zealander was 15 when she wrote the song, and 17 when she received a grammy for it.

Off topic a bit, but after posting this I decided to watch the video for the song on YouTube. And in addition to the regular video, I found a clip from Eilish performing it on Saturday Night Live.

It’s pretty impressive. I’ve seen the trick used before but it’s done well here and it’s especially good for having been done on live television.
