# Tornadoes do not occur in major cities? True?

A very little known fact, even by people who live here is that the UK has a quite lot of tornadoes, but most of them occur out at sea or in remote places and it’s extremely rare for them to ‘land’ on the ground.

Infact, I should add the Uk has the highest density of tornadoes in the world!
