Toronto, can you hear me?

Yeah, well, see, it’s bothering me. In the sense that someone putting a stick up my butt would irk me a bit.

Hopefully it’s stopped now.

what kind of e-dog do you have?

Three:

e-Rottweiler, e-Doberman, e-German Shepherd. Sorry, I don’t have pics of them I can send to you.

Demo, why the blue face?

As for the U of T campus, my secretary tells me it’s the Western Ontario one, if that makes any sense.

Demo, stop flirting with iampunha. sheesh.

Toronto simply cannot be beat for selection of good restaurants at reasonable prices. For $10usd ($15cdn) you can eat pretty well.

I can give you tons of recomendations but first you will need to tell me what part of the city you are planning to stay in. I’m guessing downtown more than likely.

Have fun when you go.

Are you sure you’re going to the U of T? Because there is a university in London called… University of Western Ontario.

The plot thickens.

Okay, QuickSilver, point taken. When/if we decide to go, and assuming we do, when we decide on a hotel I’ll let you know so you can give me pointers. Much appreciated

Oh, and before anybody gives me any grief, that’s London, Ontario.

Didn’t notice that ref to Western U earlier. That will certainly put a damper on your dinners in Toronto. It’s a two hour commute from London to Ontario.

London is a pretty good town as well but I have not spent enough time there to be of any real help to you.

Let us know as your plans firm up and details are confirmed.

Aaarghhh…

That should read … a 2 hour commute from London to Toronto.

Well, what a coincidence, as it happens I left Toronto to live in lovely London, Ontario.
Home of The University of Western Ontario.
Or as we referred to it, when I was a student there, The University of Western Ontario Golf and Country Club, because it seems to attract a lot of whitebread types.
If it’s London, it’s a whole different kettle of fish.

My email to aforementioned secretary:

"Okay. So this tournament is at the University of Toronto at Western Ontario? Because a friend of mine says there’s a university in London called the University of Western Ontario. That’s London, near Toronto, I guess, since the guy lives in Toronto.

Patrick"

Her response:

“Yup, that would be my guess.”

So, in other words, she is guessing that it is. She thinks. ARGH! I hope she clears this up soon (as it’s her job, she has the contacts, etc. This isn’t me being evil here. She was elected to the position).

Lovely London Ontario is conveniently located midway between Toronto and Detroit.
It is called the Forest City because of it’s many large and lovely trees.
The University of Western Ontario has a beautiful campus and 30,000+ students, a world class Business school and an internationally recognised heart transplant/heart & lung transplant facility. It’s over 100 yrs old and has some fabulous architecture, and a brand new stadium, due to be opened later this summer.
The city sits on the river Thames, and soft rolling hills that must have reminded someone of their homeland in England. There is even a St Patricks Cathedral! Loads of pretty Victorian homes.
Plenty of restaurants and night spots. Keep us posted.

OK, are you going to Toronto, or London? London’s a little quiet (sorry, guys, but true), but if you DO go to T.O. you must try my favorite restaurant!!! Its called the Queen Mother Cafe and it serves Thai and Laotian food for a good price. It’s on the corner of Queen and John; right downtown. Its a squidgey area but I love it. And right near one of the U of T campuses.

Err, umm…Ya know, Democritus, I’ve decided that you make a better Mr. Beauty than I do, after all.

[sub]I will not…will NOT suggest Iampunha for his consort[/sub]

::backs out of room, slowly::

Toronto, not London, far as I can tell.

If we actually go, details to follow at some later date (I’ll try to resurrect this thread instead of starting a new one).

One of these things is not like the others…
One of these things isn’t quite the same…

Demo, are you saying you’re seeing someone else?

I wonder what it’s like to be someone’s E-Bitch.
