How do I find information on the proportion of state GDP spent on medical care in one of the United States?

I would also like hard numbers on the number of nurses & physicians trained in a given state & the costs involved.

Heck, anything on other countries could be interesting for comparison.

I was looking for information for Missouri, found some stuff that would take me a looong time to work from, & then thought, maybe some agency has crunched the numbers & I just don’t know where to look.

I have an idea for a bill, but want to have some idea of the facts on the ground so I can write the pitch.

Or, you know, for the whole USA. That would be great too.

Maybe I should start there.

(Oh good grief, I need to get back to this.)
