Toyota owners - how do you feel about your car?

The one Toyota in our family is a 1993 Camry. That thing is indestructible. Our daughter has tried to smash it 3 times, but each time it’s been brought back to life.

This recall hasn’t changed my mind about the overall reliability of Toyotas, but if things keep going awry with their cars, that would be a different story.

The news has been saying that Toyota quality has been going down for the past few years, and they attribute it to just getting lazy in the face of reduced competition.

2008 Highlander Limited, not on the recall list. Only problem is that I need to clean my leather seats.

That wouldn’t surprise me - either the slipping or the reason for it.

My 1998 Corolla has served me well and is, AFAIK, unaffected by any recalls.

2007 Prius, love it, not worried about anything.

I had a 82 Tercel that ran forever and was great.
Replaced it with a 92 Paseo that was great.
Now I drive a 97 Tercel that runs like a charm.
Got my wife a new Rav4 in 06.
I’ll be buying a FJcruiser this summer.

Recall doesn’t bother me in the least. Like many other my first thought was “throw the thing in neutral” and showed my wife how to do it if she ever got in trouble.

2005 Camry. I love it. Not on the recall list, and I don’t have the funky floormats. I would definitely buy another one, but I will drive this one to the ground first. Perhaps the perceived issues will bring the prices down a bit in the future.
I love my leather interior, moon roof and gold trim package. It makes me feel like I’m driving a much more expensive car.

2010 Rav 4. Love it, don’t care about the recall, just waiting for my notice so it can go in and get fixed.

I have far more confidence in the Toyota quality system than any other auto company (and I have personally worked industry conferences and training workshops with Toyota people) and recognize this problem for the statistically rare escapement that it is.

Exactly, though mine’s a 2007.
