I read on Television without Pity that they ugly green stool in Edward’s room was a $600 ergonomic stool for folks with bad backs. It may have been off-limits. OTOH, I agree that slipcovering it might have been a good option. Gotta agree with people here about Jessie–what a controlling piece of work. She strikes me as one of those people who think being a bitch is cute somehow, as in “Oh, but I am just pretending to be an overbearing, obnoxious brat. I am really just fun-loving.” That pillow they showed of hers that said something like “I am not bossy. My ideas are just better than yours” says it all. ---

Colleen responded again and it really was a $500 dollar stool. I think the Jessie HO was just trying too damned hard through the whole show to be a TS “Star.” And she succeeded. We all remember her. Not necessarily in a good light, but we remember her. She “broke through.” (This was, after all, Vegas where nothing is real!) OK. She’s had her 15 minutes of Fame. Let’s move on. What really bugs me about Lori is the way she says “Rhee-yoom” when describing the living space she is about to transform into brown/yellow/orange. Lori, “room” is a one-syllable-word! It rhymes with “boom.” Repeat 20 times. . . or as long as it takes to lose the second silly syllable. (Vern is also guilty of this pronunciation error, but on a far lesser scale. And I love him, so I can forgive him anything.) ---

I remember that one, and the woman really was nasty about how much she hated everything about her room and how she was going to make her husband take it all down that night.
