Nice. I miss Gord Downey’s weirdness and Road Apples was a great album.

I was a casual fan growing up (I’m 46 now), but over the last few years I have grown to love their catalog of music.

As dumb as this sounds watching that embedded YouTube clip in the Rolling Stone article made my eyes start to tear up a little. I can’t wait to hear the whole album tomorrow!

A true god damn Canadian treasure!

Road apples _ **was** _ a great album. This is good news.

I saw the Tragically Hip in concert sometime in the 90s at the Toledo Zoo (the zoo had an ampitheater). great show. Before it started, Gord yelled out “we’re going to wake up some animals tonight!”

I am a big fan of the _Tragically Hip_.

I don’t think that I had ever heard of them until I happened to see the movie _Long Time Running_ a few years ago. It documents the band’s last tour after Gord Downie has received his terminal cancer diagnosis. Obviously it is a good introduction to the band’s music - it made me a fan. It is also one of the most affecting and emotional music documentaries ever.

I still recommend it to people who have never heard of the _Tragically Hip_. No-one is ever unhappy to have watched it.
