It’s supposed to air in 2014 and like the title says is a [reboot](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBTd9--9VMI) of the famed series with Carl Sagan. Here is the link but I’ll mention that the original link found on several sites was no good so I had to track down one that was. If this one doesn’t work by the time you read this, you may have to do the same. ---

Seems like a good idea. More then most sciences, Astronomy, and especially Cosmology, has really advanced in the last 30 years The trailer is a little overly-dramatic though. ---

Yeah, but that’s de rigueur these days. I liked the space ship and the Trekish/2001ish imagery. The interspersed animation was a little puzzling but I assume has a purpose given Tyson’s role in the project. IDK, we’ll see. ---

He just did an [AMA on reddit](http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1jpg03/i_am_neil_degrasse_tyson_ama_about_the_new_cosmos/) specifically about Cosmos. I can never get used to the reddit format, but he seems confident that the reboot will capture the spirit of the original. I do hope so. ---
