This is the opening sequence to the game- there was also a gameplay trailer as seen [here](http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/14294513/the-beatles/videos/rockbandbeat_trl_e3trailer_60109.html). I’m only a casual fan of the Fabs, but I think this looks awesome. Beatlemania is back! ---

When I first saw the trailer, my first reaction was “I CANNOT CONTAIN THE HAPPINESS INSIDE OF ME!” On subsequent viewings, my enthusiasm has not dampened. I can’t freaking wait for 9/9/09. ---

I haven’t listened much to the Beatles. Is the drumming on most of their work that boring? ---

In several interviews, everybody from Ringo himself to George Martin said that Ringo’s real job was to hold down the beat so the band could keep it all together in loud clubs/theaters/venues/stadiums when they couldn’t really hear themselves play (due to very, very loud fans and very, very horrible sound systems). It got to the point where they could literally stop playing on the stage, and nobody would notice or care (and the screaming covered a multitude sins). Now, having said that, I have no idea if Ringo’s drumming style changed after they stopped touring (so everything from **Revolver** on) because I barely notice the drumming anyway. ---
