Mark my words: if these loons keep babbling on about the “deep state” (now including Amtrak! :rolleyes:), eventually some other loon with guns instead of a microphone will shoot up a government office. :eek: He won’t go in “investigating” like the Pizzagate loon, he’ll walk in guns-a-blazing. Aaaaand the microphone loons will immediately disavow the murderous loon by calling the shooting a false-flag operation. :rolleyes: This crap practically writes itself.
Returning to the real world, “train hits truck” is about as non-news as “dog bites man.” It’s only The Man that got bit which makes this one news.
Amtrak? I would think that the truck’s driver would under more suspicion of being “deep state”, Muslim, Nazi, Russian agent, Christian extremist, Democrat, white, communist, Hillary-worshiper, socialist, redneck, or Canadian.
Ours news had a short piece on it at 11. What surprised me, for a rather better station, the first thing was the “possible terrorist” angle they took. Trains don’t crash into cars every day, especially not trains full of politicians, but does that have to be the first thing someone speculates about these days? Accidents still do happen often enough.
