# Trainer suggested brown rice - Made some and it's not all that great - Any alternatives?

“Between white rice and brown rice” makes me think of [parboiled rice](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parboiled_rice). Is that what you’re referring to?

Well, there’s all sorts of rices. There’s black rice, red rice, and purple rice, too, for example.
