I hate to break it to you, but how one’s genitals are shaped doesn’t guarantee whether one will turn out to be a “pervo” or not. Letting transgendered individuals use the restrooms they wish to use will not increase the chances of your encountering “pervos” in public restrooms.
Unless you consider transgendered individuals to be among those you consider to be “pervos”, that is.
I’m trying to figure out how this works. Transgendered man goes through the long, drawn out process of transition(surgery, counseling, years of medication therapy etc.) just to get a chance to perv on male penises in restrooms?
Well, there could be women dressing up fraudulently in men’s clothes to get a chance to perv on male penises in the restroom. THAT’S the real troubling issue!

Look, I was responding to Dinsdale who was suggesting “all bathrooms are unisex”.
I pointed out that in some buildings the lockers, changing rooms and showers are attached to the bathrooms.
I am not that concerned with transgendered individuals using said unisex lockers, changing rooms and showers- I am concerned with any person of the opposite sex.
The two (me and Dinsdale) of us were discussing converting all restrooms to unisex.* I care not a whit about transgendered individuals using whatever bathroom they feel most comfortable with. * Perfectly OK by me. Considering the amount of counseling and therapy a lot of them have to go through, I would say there’s a much lower chance you would find any “pervos” among them than among the general population.

I think it’s obvious. There needs to be, like, 6 different restrooms to accommodate everyone: men’s, women’s, family, transgender, pervos who want to perv on each other, and Republican*
*Women using the Republican restroom needs to sign an official notarized form surrendering rights to their own bodies.

I am for transgender individuals being able to use the bathroom of their choice.
However I think there has been an ongoing misunderstanding among my progressive homies regarding the specific nature of conservatives’ unfounded fear that perverts will exploit non-discrimination ordinances for their own nefarious ends.
Conservatives are not saying that transgender people will commit sexual assault. They are saying that straight cis men will go try to use the women’s restroom so they can get their rocks off, and then claim to identify as a woman if they are caught.
Just as dumb, but a different kind of dumb.
I would say that is about as likely as a man going into a woman’s restroom to get his rocks off and then saying he was born a woman if he is caught.

Not true. There were three cases of Republican Congressmen soliciting sex in bathrooms, yes, but in those cases the Congressmen were led to believe that the offer was welcome. That is, the undercover officer responded positively to the initial, ambiguous approach. This was deliberate, of course, because the officers were undercover precisely to arrest men seeking sex in public restrooms. In other words, the sexual overtures were not unwelcome and are not “sexual harassment,” at all.
Of course, there aren’t any cases of transgender people seeking sex in bathrooms either, so far as I am aware. So the author’s point could have easily been made with an accurate statement.
