Actually, both of you are wrong about Playstation CDs. You can burn them but there is a “startup code” on the PSX CDs (also used for territorial info so you can’t play japanese CDs on a US machine and vice-versa) that cannot be burned. With a few games they do purposely put bad sectors on the CD or make it so there’s more info on the game CD than will fit on your avg. CDR.
There are three ways around this- you can get a modchip and solder it in, get a “game shark” type box that plugs into the expansion port in back, or (if you have an older PSX) you can use the swap trick- start with a legit US PSX CD, wait til it starts to spin down (at the black Sony screen) and quickly swap it with the CDR or import CD.
