Using the natural adhesive of barnacles, I can assemble clamshells and coral into amusing little dancing frog figurines, which could then be used as currency. And I can help to extract salt from seawater via evaporation, in case of zombies. Lots of zombies on desert islands, so you can never have enough salt. I always carry a packet on my person, so I’d have a head start. I also know a special trick for calling coquina clams up out of the sand, in case we want to make delicious coquina soup. The leftover shells can be used to make more frog figurines. ---

Hrm, I would find my situation rather depressing on that island, as I have neither experience in any particular trade (like astro-coconut physics) nor am I excessively intelligent… Chances are I’d be wiling away my time writing angry letters to the editor of all the papers that pissed me off, stuffing the letters into bottles then casting them into the sea. ---

I wouldn’t worry too much about Cecil. I imagine he will rise of his own accord to his proper level. I would worry about Zenster though. It appears just the thought of being shipwrecked with us has already gotten to him. Count your fingers when you wake up. We in the entertainment crew will provide not only recitals of popular shows but original entertainment too. That stuff will just take longer to get off the ground. ---

Boat, schmoat. I’m recruiting Trek Dopers to work on a coconut-based Transporter. Unfortunately, our early experiements haven’t gone that well; the wild boar we tried to beam from one side of the island to another rematerialized with coconut shells instead of hooves. ---

I will just work on my tan, maybe start a nice little crop of peace inducing herbs, and start to practice Rastafarianism. Eventually I could set up a jerk stand but someone would have to figure out how to make the Red Stripe. ---
