Complaining about magazines that you have not purchased and that you do not have to read?
I mean, a Travel Magazine HAS to make ordinary stuff look exciting. There would be no reason to visit most places, even though 99% of them are pretty ordinary. Take my home town-Boston. It has some nice areas, and there are some historic places woth visiting. But i n the end, it is an ordinary city, filled with people who have no interesting features, and mediocre/high priced rstaurants. So, you (the travel editor), are you going to show the banality of Boston? no-you show the little that is interesting, and play it up. Most cities are pretty similar-do you really want to visit downtown Dallas, Texas?
