As of 9AM this morning, news was reporting half the ATMs empty. People had their pensions “deposited” but no way to get the money out.
Thought I’d give a quick update. Greece was lovely, totally business as usual. I’ve been there many many times and this was, if anything, the easiest trip I’ve ever had there. Absolutely no problems at all - I was worried about nothing.
I’d go back without hesitation.

The nature of all these crises is the media announces yet another cliff-hanger every couple weeks for years before the Big Event finally transpires. Or never does.
