Two episodes left and three teams remain to vie for the treasure which, actually, we still have no idea what it is. Once Team Air Force forecloses the contest with its mechanical vice-like grip on first place, who will come second? ---

I could have sworn tonight was going to be a two-hour finale. Color me irritated. And this waiting another ten minutes so the Tivo doesn’t catch up on the last commercial is a pain in the ass. 🙂 ---

Why do the Air Force folks have those flashlights all the time? The library is pretty darn well lit, IMO. My husband joked that he was surprised they didn’t have big Sherlock Holmes hats and magnifying glasses. ---

Almost 40 years ago, General Mills refused to let Jay Ward do a cartoon for _The Bullwinkle Show_ in which Mr. Peabody and Sherman helped Francis Scott Key write _The Star-Spangled Banner_, believing viewers would be offended by a satirization of an important American icon. As much as I like _Treasure Hunters_, the idea that he was the major link to a secret treasure, the directions of which are hidden in the actual flag on which the song was based, seems to me to be an even bigger travesty. ---

Anyone else think the supersecret word is MASON ? Or is that _too_ obvious? ---

I tuned in just as Team Junior Birdmen was asking some firefighters (or something) how to get to Fort McHenry. Can someone recap the first 25 minutes for me please? ---

But that’s how they’re going to see what to do next, by the dawn’s early light, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. Or in other words, those stupid flashlights of the Airforce are gonna be useful ---

From a native Baltimoron (yup, that’s what we call ourselves. . . :smack: ) I LOVED that Team Air Force kept taking the Ft. McHenry Tunnel which only takes you under the harbor and further onto I95. The husband and I kept laughing at the “Key Industries” destination. We swear they were actually at the Domino Sugar plant and the producers just covered the sign for a night. A quick Googling led to no company called Key Industries in Baltimore (or is this just another branch of the “secret society”. … :-p) ---
