I’m just thinking of some of the movie and episode titles… \*What Are Little Girls Made Of? First Contact Where No Man Has Gone Before Rascals The Naked Now The Man Trap A Man Alone Stigma Space Seed Invasive Procedures\* and quite a few others, I’m sure, lend themselves to being interpreted in disturbing ways. :dubious: ---

Yes, it sounds plausible that the Toronto Sex Crimes Unit would just happen to stumble on a significant correlation that, although blindingly obvious, has evidently eluded not only all previous authorities on the phenomenon of child molestation, but also every one of the myriad sociological studies of Star Trek fandom. How the heck did they even find out that four years’ worth of child molesters were all Star Trek fans, anyway? Is this just one of the standard questions that they ask during psychological evaluations of sexual predators in Toronto? I’m genuinely curious about how this information was uncovered. Of course, this dubious factoid can cut both ways. I can now wonder about the curious coincidence that, of all the Star Trek fans I’ve ever heard of, every single one arrested for sex crimes with minors was from the Toronto fan base. I think this says something quite profound about Canadians, frankly. ---

I am suprised that the [Judge](http://www.eonline.com/News/Specials/Jackson/Actors/) on the E! Channel’s rendition of the Michael Jackson Trial did not recuse himself. Jackson’s lawers may be able to win that case on a treknicality. ---

One point no one’s mentioned: If I were looking to start up relationships with insecure middle-school boys, conversations about _their_ favorite shows seems like a good tactic. Sure, he may have a collection of Next Generation DVDs; but are they for him or are they bait?
